On, Saturday January 14th, 2017, the new leadership of CCC was introduced to the community. An exchange of ideas among members to increase the organization's membership was the top subject of the event. In the process, new members were enrolled and the vision laid out by the leadership team was communicated.

CCC outreach 2017
On, Saturday May 20th, 2017, the community will gather at the "New Community Church of Chicago located at 616 Lake St, Evanston IL, 60201. The agenda is: Prayer for the Congolese families living in the chicago land, Prayer for the nation of Congo and Africa, Prayer for the family of Darlis Nkolomoni who was gun down on April 28th, Word of encouragement and unity for the community, Presentation of the new Website, Membership information, Panel presentation on the economic and humanitarian news of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Open floor discussion, food and beverages.
